Dr. Olive has 11 years of experience as a physician. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Olive is moving to Alexandria from Naples, FL where he practiced at Naples Health Care Associates as an internist doing both mobile medicine and traditional office based internal medicine. Dr. Olive previously practiced in St. Paul, MN in a clinic specializing in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. He has extensive training and interest in Diabetes and is an active member in the American Diabetes Association.
Dr. Olive is a native Minnesotan. He was born and attended high school in St. Paul. He graduated from Bemidji State University with undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Physics. Dr. Olive's career background includes thirteen years experience teaching and coaching in both high school and college prior to medical school. Dr. Olive also spent two years of Graduate Training in Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation at St. Cloud State University.
Dr. Olive's wife, Cindy is a Registered Nurse. They have two black and white Springer Spaniels, Tim and Bob. Dr. Olive is an avid Minnesota sports fan. The Olives are excited to return to their Minnesotan roots, especially to Alexandria to be close to their family and friends. |
