Jeffrey Brown was named vice president and associate general counsel of AGL Resources in September 2002. Brown came to the company in July 2001 as an accomplished senior level counsel with over 20 years experience in the Atlanta legal community.
Prior to joining AGL, Brown held several senior management positions in the Legal Department of BellSouth Corporation, including vice president and group counsel for the company’s domestic, wireless, Internet, video and long-distance units and vice president and general counsel of its International unit. He has also served as vice president and general counsel of a telecommunications start up company in Atlanta and earlier in his career was a partner with the international law firm Hunton & Williams, where he served as a member of the Corporate and Securities team specializing in securities and mergers and acquisitions transactions.
Brown is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia. He and his family reside in Atlanta. |
