Jeffrey P. Anzovino is a partner with the Greensburg office of DTA Certified Public Accountants, a division of Malin, Bergquist & Company, LLP, one of the city’s oldest and largest certified public accounting firms, with offices also in Jeannette, Pittsburgh and Erie. He and his team provide auditing and accounting services to some of the best-known companies and non-profit organizations in Southwest Pennsylvania. Jeff’s audit clients include large manufacturers with multi-state operations in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and North Carolina as well as Puerto Rico. For one, he prepared forecasts and projections that helped the business obtain a multi-million dollar line of credit. He also has provided litigation support to clients and has testified in several trials as an expert witness.Smaller clients of Jeff’s include government agencies and not-for-profit organizations such as community colleges, school districts and intermediate units, as well as city and municipal governments and municipal authorities. Through Jeff’s work with local boards, foundations and charities, he is recognized as a consummate professional and is well known in the community. His network of contacts provides clients with access to VIP decision-makers and a broad range of options for referrals.Jeff serves on the executive committee for the Southwestern Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is on the board of directors for the City of Greensburg Planning Commission. He also has been board treasurer of the Hannastown Golf Club and the Rotary Club of Jeannette, an advisory board director of the Salvation Army, and a volunteer with the Maxwell Baseball Association in Greensburg. A certified public accountant since 1995, Jeff is an associate member of the Certified Fraud Examiners, and is completing his Master’s Degree in Accounting from St. Vincent College. He is an honorary member of the Delta Mu Delta business honor society.Before becoming an accountant, Jeff spent four years as a paratrooper for the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division, where he was an honor graduate of the Primary Leadership Development Course at Fort Bragg, N.C. Later, in 1993, he received a bachelor of science degree in accounting, summa cum laude, from St. Vincent College. He started his career as an internal auditor for United States Steel Corporation, where he worked in the company’s steel, railroad, barge, realty and natural gas businesses, including fraud investigations. He then joined the firm in 1995, where he was promoted to partner in 2000.Jeff and his wife, Marianne, and their son, Mitchell, live in the Greensburg area. |
