Jeffrey N. Goldberg is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Los Angeles office. Jeff is a member of the Trial Department.
Jeff has handled various litigation matters in state and federal courts, including appeals in both the California Courts of Appeal and the United States Courts of Appeals. He also has extensive experience in arbitration proceedings and related court proceedings. Jeff has experience in diverse areas of litigation, including health care matters and actions brought pursuant to California’s unfair competition law, false advertising law and Consumers Legal Remedies Act.
Jeff has been significantly involved in the pro bono representation of tenants who brought suit against against their landlords to enforce their rights to safe and habitable housing under California law and the Los Angeles Municipal Code. Jeff received an Award for Outstanding Commitment to Pro Bono Legal Services in 2007 for his work on the matter.
Jeff is admitted to practice in California, before the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
