Experience
Mr. Sherman has an international practice focused on the representation of creditors and debtors in bankruptcy, reorganization and insolvency proceedings. For more than 25 years, he has represented debtors, creditors, creditor’s committees, and parties affected by bankruptcy proceedings, including landlords, insurers, defendants in actions brought by a trustee, purchasers of assets from a bankruptcy estate, etc., and previously served as a bankruptcy trustee. Mr. Sherman has appeared in Bankruptcy Courts throughout the mid-Atlantic region and around the country. He is also a Bankruptcy Court-appointed mediator, as well as a CLE lecturer and author on bankruptcy and reorganization.
Mr. Sherman achieved an A/V® rating from Martindale Hubbell®, the highest possible peer review rating for ethics and legal ability.
