Before starting Goldmark Advisers, Inc. (successor to Goldmark Partners), Mr. Gold was Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for Josephthal & Co., Inc., a NYSE-member investment banking & brokerage firm. Before joining Josephthal, Mr. Gold was Managing Director of Goldmark Partners, an investment banking and corporate development firm he founded in 1985. Prior to that, Mr. Gold was the Executive Vice President & CFO of Esquire, Inc., a NYSE-listed communications company. He was Esquire's principal negotiator on its sale to Paramount Communications and later became Executive Vice President in charge of corporate development & strategic planning for Paramount's Simon & Schuster Division. Prior to joining Esquire, Mr. Gold was Vice President & Corporate Controller of National Patent Development Corporation. He began his career at KPMG Peat Marwick. He is a graduate of Pace University. |
