Experience:
Jeffrey Bruns, a partner in the Chicago office, provides tax advice to a wide variety of clients in connection with the formation and operation of partnerships and limited liability companies. His work emphasizes transactions involving real estate assets. Jeff also has substantial experience representing sponsors of real estate and private equity funds, as well as representing taxable, tax-exempt and foreign investors in such funds. In addition, he regularly provides tax advice in connection with the formation and operation of REITs. He joined Mayer Brown LLP in 1999 and was named a partner in 2006.
