Jeffrey J. Mordaunt is a Managing Director in the Dispute Advisory & Forensic Services Group. He has extensive experience providing a broad range of business and financial advice to trial lawyers and in-house counsel throughout the dispute process, including matters involving breach of contract, intellectual property infringement, tortious interference, post-merger and acquisition disputes, fraud and forensic investigations, employment and compensation matters, shareholder disputes, defamation, Superfund remediation, and alter ego matters. Additionally, Mr. Mordaunt has provided reorganization services to clients in bankruptcy, as well as to distressed businesses. He has also performed and managed numerous other engagements involving complex contract analyses, risk assessments and related issues, financial modeling and business plans for start-up companies in the health care industry. Mr. Mordaunt s experience encompasses a wide array of industries. These include, but are not limited to, manufacturing, health care, retail, distribution, professional service companies, technology, real estate, governmental and environmental. Mr. Mordaunt has presented continuing education seminars on the subject of litigation advisory services, fraud and forensics, intellectual property infringement and electronic discovery. He has also presented various topics to law firms for continuing legal education credit. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Mordaunt was a Senior Manager in the Dispute Consulting and Forensic Investigations practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP in Ohio and Michigan. Mr. Mordaunt earned his BBA in Accounting, Management and Business Pre-Law from Ohio University. He earned his MBA with a concentration in Banking and Finance from Case Western Reserve University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the state of Ohio. In addition, Mr. Mordaunt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, Healthcare Finance Management Association, and has served as a member of the OSCPA s Litigation Support Services Committee, Cleveland Chapter, and Health Care Special Advisory Group. |
