Mr. Diermeier has been President and Chief Executive Officer of CFA Institute since 2005. Prior to CFA Institute, he spent 29 years at UBS Global Asset Management and its predecessor organizations, primarily Brinson Partners, Inc., eventually becoming the firm's Global Chief Investment Officer.
In addition to the Board of Governors of CFA Institute, he sits on the boards of Stairway Partners, The Q-Group, XBRL U.S. and XBRL International Advisory Board. Mr. Diermeier is also director of the University of Wisconsin Foundation. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mr. Diermeier holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. |
