Jeffrey D. Simon is President CIT Vendor
Finance Global Major Relationships a unit of CIT
Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT) a leading global
commercial and consumer finance company.
He has more than 18 years of experience in
vendor finance leasing business credit
corporate development and investor relations.
Simon joined CIT in 1988 as a management
trainee and transferred to the Los Angeles office
in 1990 where he held a variety of management
positions until he was promoted to Senior Vice
President in 1993. In 1997 he was named Senior
Vice President of Corporate Development and
Investor Relations. In 1999 he joined CIT Vendor
Technology Finance as Senior Vice President of
Corporate Development and was appointed to
his current position in 2000.
He serves on the Boards of Directors of Dell
Financial Services a joint venture between CIT
and Dell Inc. and SnapOn Credit Inc a joint
venture between CIT and Snap-On Tools. He
also serves as a member of the Board of
Trustees of the Newark Museum.
Simon received his B.S. in Business
Administration from Emory University and
attended the executive management program at
the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. |
