Background/Education
Mr. Wilson was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1970. He earned his B.A. from Wayne State University in 1993 and his J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1996.
Expertise
Mr. Wilson represents management in all aspects of labor and employment law, including defending employment discrimination claims, responding to union organizational efforts, collective bargaining agreement negotiation and administration, counseling employers on all FMLA, ADA, FLSA, ELCRA and other state and federal employment laws, formulating personnel policies, and the defense of employers generally before courts, administrative agencies and arbitration tribunals. Formerly, he was an attorney for the National Labor Relations Board, Detroit Region.
A significant part of Mr. Wilson's practice is complex commercial litigation. He has extensive experience in all areas of business litigation, including UCC disputes, representing manufacturers and service providers in various industries such as paint/industrial coatings, automotive supply chain and health care. His practice also includes general civil disputes including defamation, First Amendment and cyber-law cases in courts and arbitration tribunals across the country.
Mr. Wilson is an adjunct professor of employment law at Wayne State University Law School, and lectures on labor and employment issues throughout the country.
