Jeffrey D. Hochberg joined Sullivan & Cromwell in 1995 and became a partner of the Firm in January 2004. His practice is primarily focused on the taxation of financial instruments and products, private equity and real estate transactions, cross border structured investments and structured finance transactions. He also has extensive experience in advising clients as to the tax consequences of domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and restructurings and has worked on numerous debt exchanges and refinancings. Jeff is a member of the Executive Committee of the Tax Section of the New York State Bar Association and he serves as Co-Chair of its Real Property Committee. The Chambers USA Guide to America's Leading Business Lawyers 2005 referred to Mr. Hochberg as a "rising star" and as one of New York's leading practitioners in the area of taxation of financial instruments. |
