As Chairman and CEO of MICG Investment Management, Jeff oversees the growth and strategy of the firm, as well as ensuring the continuance of MICG's tradition for providing sophisticated financial advice coupled with exceptional service.MICG provides financial planning, portfolio management, investment banking, insurance services, lending services, real estate consulting, and corporate services.Jeff is a General Securities Principal, a Supervisory Principal, a Financial and Operations Principal, an Investment Advisor Principal, a Certified Portfolio Manager, and a registered Futures Managed Funds Advisor.Jeff received his Bachelor of Science from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado and his MBA from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.Jeff is a member of the Securities Industry Association as well as the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association Small Firms committee. He serves on the Christopher Newport University School of Business Board of Advisors. He is the membership chair for the Virginia chapter of the Young Presidents Organization. He also coaches the basketball middle school team for Hampton Roads Academy. Jeff has been a Board Director for the USO of Hampton Roads and also the President of the Peninsula Big Brothers Big Sisters program. He has received the Virginia Peninsula's Financial Services Advocate of the Year Award, as well as Inside Business' "Top Forty Under Forty" recognition.Jeff resides in Newport News, Virginia with his wife, Missy and son, Cole. |
