Jeff Spahr is President and General Manager of the U.S. Concrete Michigan Region. The Michigan Region is currently made up of five companies: The Superior Companies in SE Michigan, The Builder’s Ready Mix Company in Lansing, MI, The Cornillie Concrete Company of NW Michigan, and the Superior Block and Building Supply Company in the Detroit area.
Mr. Spahr has over 20 years of management and manufacturing experience. His tenure in the ready mix industry began in 1995 when he acquired an equity position in Fendt Transit Mix, Inc. and assumed the responsibilities as its President. Under Jeff’s guidance, the Fendt companies were purchased by U.S. Concrete in November of 1999 as the regional platform company for continued growth. Since that time, the Michigan Region has acquired six additional companies and presently operates 20 ready mix plants, a concrete masonry operation, a sand and gravel operation and multiple building materials supply stores.
Jeff is a graduate of Michigan State University and was past Chairman of the Michigan Concrete Association.
