As Mercury Payment Systems’ co-founder and chairman of the board, Jeffrey Katz launched Mercury with an idea for a unique business model, which became a reality when he joined forces with brother and technology expert, Marc Katz. His vision and payment processing industry experience became the foundation for Mercury’s strong start, followed by rapid growth each consecutive year. With strong channel marketing expertise, developed throughout 16 years of building financial planning and credit card processing businesses, Katz’s experience included the representation of smaller Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs), such as Bancard, Inc., of Boulder, CO, and larger bank/processors such as Citicorp Establishment Services in Melville, N.Y. Katz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Binghamton University, Binghamton, N.Y. |
