Jeffery Burks has over 20 years of experience creating revenue growth and reducing costs within the technical, industrial services and construction industries. Jeffery has particular expertise leading multi-unit organizations and is an expert in delivering start-up and turnaround operations profitability.
Jeffery is responsible for fostering the successful start-up operations of several construction companies through effective planning, process development and comprehensive performance monitoring. He previously served as President for six newly-established subsidiary companies, where he provided full P&L responsibility. Jeff created a 20% growth in revenue within two years of start-up and generated a 27% increase in gross margins by fully integrating regional companies.
Prior to joining Focus Management Group, Jeffery served as the Chief Operating Officer of a national consolidated construction company, where he was responsible for supervising field operations, risk management, service, asset management and recruitment. During his tenure, Jeffery established a new international department that secured multiple contracts with US federal agencies, generated service business increases of 28% and overall profit increases by 11% and dramatically improved gross margin.
Jeffery received his B.S. in Earth Sciences from Eastern Connecticut State University and is currently attending CW Post University for his MBA.
