Mr. Smisek has been a Director of the Company since March 2005. Mr. Smisek served as a Director of Varco (and its predecessor Tuboscope Inc.) since February 1998. Since December 30 2004 Mr. Smisek has served as President and a director of Continental Airlines Inc. Mr. Smisek previously served Continental Airlines Inc. as: Executive Vice President from March 2003 until December 2004; Executive Vice President - Corporate from May 2001 until March 2003; and Executive Vice President General Counsel and Secretary from November 1996 to May 2001. |
