Mr. McKenzie joined Carpenter & Company in 1983 as Project Director for Charles Square. Prior to joining Carpenter, Mr. McKenzie organized and operated his own project consulting company in Houston, Texas. From 1978 to 1981, Mr. McKenzie served as Vice President of Woodlands Development Corporation, as a subsidiary of Mitchell Energy, where he was in charge of commercial development, which included the marketing, leasing and construction of a 23,000 acre development. From 1976 to 1978 he was Vice President and General Manager of the management division of Vantage Companies and was responsible for leasing over 6,000,000 square feet of commercial space. He was promoted to Senior Vice President with responsibility for site selection, land use analysis and general project development. Mr. McKenzie received a business degree in real estate and insurance from the University of Maryland in 1965. |
