Swain is vice president of sales at Center7. With more than 15 years of experience in all aspects of technology sales, Swain is a proven sales leader with a thorough understanding of direct, major account and channel sales management. Swain has lead sales teams that consistently exceed corporate goals. Most recently, Swain was VP of Sales at ARKONA, a provider of automotive dealership software as a service. At ARKONA, he and his sales team developed single tier and OEM partner channels and successfully grew the company at double and triple-digit rates. Additionally, Swain managed regional sales managers, systems engineers, and the company’s inside sales team, while personally managing relationships with Automobile manufacturers. Previously, Swain was Director of Channel Sales for Legato System’s high-availability division. At Legato, Swain delivered impressive sales metrics, attaining a software maintenance sales increase of 400% during one sales promotion and increasing overall channel sales by 40% in less than six months. Prior to Legato, Swain was an award-winning salesman for Informix and Novell, and managed multimillion-dollar accounts in the government sector.
