Jeff Shumway currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Phoenix Coyotes, a franchise of the National Hockey League, and as Chief Operating Officer for Jerry Moyes’ private holdings. In that capacity, Mr. Shumway manages all of Mr. Moyes’ private business activities, real estate developments and investments. Shumway has served in this capacity since 2003. Prior to this position, Mr. Shumway worked with numerous start-up businesses in both legal and management capacities from 1997 to 2003. Mr. Shumway was with the Arizona law firm of Lewis & Roca from 1994-1997 specializing in corporate litigation. Before joining Lewis & Roca, Mr. Shumway was with the national law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom from 1990-1994 based in their Delaware office. Jeff Shumway received his law degree from Yale University in 1990 and received a finance degree with Honors from Arizona State University in 1987.
