Jeff accepted the role as Director of Research and Development with FlowCardia's founding team in 2002. He currently has over 15 years of design and product development experience in the medical device industry, and has successfully driven several innovative catheter based technologies from concept to commercialization. Prior to joining FlowCardia, Jeff was a R&D Engineer and Manager in the Neurovascular field with Target Therapeutics, and then with Boston Scientific Corporation following their acquisition of Target. Before that he launched his medical device career as a R&D Engineer with Abbott Critical Care Systems, where he was awarded his first of now 9 granted US Patents in the industry, with several others still pending. Jeff holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. |
