TeamHealth Teleradiology is seeking a board certified radiologist to provide night-time teleradiology services from his or her home. While our teleradiology center is based in Tampa, this is a work-from-home opportunity. The physician's schedule will include equal rotation on multiple shifts during our current hours of operation, which are 5 p.m. to 8 a.m., Monday through Sunday. All reads are preliminary emergency and trauma studies with 90 percent being CT (head, abdomen, pelvis) and 10 percent being ultrasound, with occasional MRI studies.
This position offers the equivalent of 26 weeks of vacation. There is a guaranteed base salary with significant bonus potential based on volume and turn-around time. This position also offers a full benefits package (health, life, and disability insurance), professional liability insurance (including tail coverage), relocation allowance, CME, and 401(k). We prefer that candidates have a minimum of one year of night-time teleradiology experience and a current list of references. Having an active medical license in multiple states is helpful as well. States of preference include Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Established more than 10 years ago, this practice currently covers night-time needs of client hospitals in the eastern and central time zones.
