Jeff Roman serves as vice president of information services and business development for Interface Inc. He has overall responsibility for the company's information technologies as well as the business process teams that work with the Americas and Fabrics divisions.
Roman joined Interface Flooring Systems in June 1995 as General Manager of Interface Modernform Company Ltd. a joint venture between Interface Inc. and Modernform. In October 1996 Jeff was promoted to Vice President of Manufacturing for Asia. In October 1998 Jeff was transferred to Interface Americas Inc. to implement the Y2K compliant manufacturing system to all North American operations. Jeff was named Vice President of Technical Development in February 2000 for Interface Americas Inc. where he assumed responsibility for all product development and custom product development. In June 2001 he assumed his current role which was expanded in February of 2004 to include information technology for the Americas and Fabrics divisions.
Prior to joining Interface Roman worked with Shaw Industries for 10 years where he advanced to multiple operational management positions within the Contract broadloom and modular businesses. He was a member of the startup team for Shaw's Networx® Modular Carpet Division.
Roman earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1985. A native of Dalton GA Jeff and his wife Diana along with their three children Mackenzie Alec and Cooper now live in Peachtree City GA. |
