Jeff Nelson is chief information officer at Broadlane and has been with the company since December 2003. Prior to joining Broadlane, he worked as an independent consultant for two years developing business, marketing and information technology plans for startup and mid-sized organizations. Nelson has previously served as vice president of product development at WebMD, where he developed a variety of healthcare-based applications and portal technologies to integrate company and third-party services. Prior to his career at WebMD, Nelson served as executive vice president and co-founder of Metis L.L.C., where he was responsible for creating and developing health care applications for hospitals and physician practices. He held several consulting positions with First Consulting Group for eight years and held positions in a receivables management startup for several years prior. Nelson has over 23 years of health care technology experience and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business and a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in finance, both from the University of San Francisco. |
