Jeff Mueller comes to Minnesota Technology from US Bancorp where he served as Director of Client Relations working with large national and regional corporate clients. Jeff has 30 years experience in banking, finance and marketing with extensive relationship management skills along with a sales, project management, process improvement, marketing and business development background. Jeff began his career working with community banks before entering the regional banking system where he managed bank operations along with small business development, insurance, electronic payment platforms, product development, ecommerce payment applications and strategic positioning.Jeff currently serves as President of the Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce, Upper Midwest Chapter. This organization is active in helping Minnesota companies enter the Norwegian and pan-European marketplace and Norwegian companies who wish to gain entry to the North American market. The Chamber also works closely with the University of Minnesota's College of Biological Sciences, particularly the Initiative for Renewable Energy and the Environment (IREE) and their quest to develop, promote and commercialize new energy alternatives including wind, ethanol, biomass and hydrogen. Jeff also has experience through Seed Forum International in connecting emerging medical technology and bioscience companies with venture capital investors.Jeff serves on the Business Advisory Board for the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in Minneapolis. In 2006 Jeff prepared a strategic marketing and business development plan for the Minneapolis consular office entitled ‘Look to Minnesota’. The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has subsequently recommended this report to their embassies and consulates worldwide as a model to follow in developing strategic relationships with key partners in their respective countries.
