Prior to his appointment as CFO, Goering was the team's senior director of Finance, handling many of the same duties he currently...He spent his first 5 years with the Ravens as the team's controller, supervising the finance staff, as well as preparing financial statements, coordinating financial audits and administering the budget process for the club...Prior to joining the Ravens, Goering was a senior consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dallas from 1997-1999...While with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, he worked with a number of sports facilities, preparing financial feasibility studies, market assessments and economic impact analyses for proposed new or expanded sports facilities.
While earning his master's of science in sports management (1998) from the University of Massachusetts, Goering worked as a consultant in the evaluation and preparation of Boston Red Sox salary arbitration cases...Jeff was also a graduate assistant for the UMass Athletic Department Business Office from 1996-97.
