Mr. Elkins joined FlowMedica following various positions as Vice President of Medtronic/AVE's AAA Business Unit where he oversaw Operations pertaining to the TALENT and ANEURX Stent Graft platforms, including the successful US launch of AneuRx. He joined Medtronic following the company's acquisition of World Medical, a successful start-up company where he held the positions of Vice President of Operations and Chief Technical Officer. Prior to World Medical, Mr. Elkins as part of the start-up senior management team, was responsible for Operations, Manufacturing, and portions of R&D for Cordis Endovascular Systems, the neurointerventional spin-off of Johnson & Johnson/Cordis. In addition, he held various manufacturing and R&D engineering and management positions at Cordis Corporation and Haemonetics during its successful IPO.
