As an advisor to SiBEAM, Jeff Bernstein brings more than 20 years of startup insights. Prior to co-founding 2Wire in 1998, Jeff co-founded PictureTel Corporation in 1984. His contributions at PictureTel and to the multimedia and conferencing industry led to the international multimedia teleconferencing consortium (IMTC) recognizing Bernstein as a pioneer in multimedia. Bernstein has been an active participant in international standardization efforts in the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and DSL Forum, as well as other domestic and international standards bodies. Bernstein received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
