In his position as Chief Information Officer, Jeff Beringer oversees IT strategy and business alignment, IT integration with Asahi Tec, business systems, computer operations, personal computing, local and wide area communications, and telephony for Metaldyne’s 38 locations worldwide.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Beringer served as Metaldyne’s director of Financial Shared Services, where he was responsible for accounts payable, fixed assets, accounts receivable and payroll services. In this role, he spearheaded the integration of Metaldyne business groups with common financial processes and systems infrastructure.
Mr. Beringer joined Metaldyne in 1995 as controller of the former Global Metal Technologies, Inc. (GMTI). Before joining Metaldyne, he worked as a manufacturing and finance systems consultant and developer. His numerous clients came from die-casting, injection molding, tooling, electronics and metal fabricating industries.
Mr. Beringer holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Illinois.
Mr. Beringer is a member of OESA’s CIO Council, the Detroit CIO Executive Summit, and the Detroit Chapter of SIM International.
He works out of Metaldyne’s corporate headquarters in Plymouth, Michigan. |
