Aaron has 20 years' experience at senior management levels within both conventional and alternative healthcare, focusing on integrating wellness, prevention and complementary and alternative medicine into mainstream healthcare. Recently, Jeff transitioned to Internet technology as CEO/COO of Torson Group, Inc., and a content and technology company in the eHealth, sports and fitness fields. Previously, he was SVP of Business Development and Marketing for IDEA, the fitness professionals' association. He has worked with Deepak Chopra for several years, first as VP of Community Education for Sharpe Healthcare, which developed one of the first integrated medicine programs within a hospital system. Jeff was instrumental in enticing Deepak to move to La Jolla from Massachusetts to work with them. Subsequently, Jeff helped develop the Chopra Center through his consulting firm, Management Innovations. Jeff is experienced at raising venture capital, developing land-based and Internet start-ups, and skilled at operations and strategic planning in both small and large companies. |
