Jeff Pundt serves as President of the Landstar Carrier Group of companies. He is responsible for the complete operation of four wholly-owned subsidiaries of Landstar System, Inc.: Landstar Gemini, Inc.; Landstar Inway, Inc.; Landstar Ligon, Inc.; and Landstar Ranger, Inc. The Landstar Carrier Group provides complete truckload transportation services to shippers throughout North America.
Mr. Pundt joined Landstar in 1978 at one of the company's founding carriers. Throughout his career at Landstar, he has served in both field and administrative operations. Prior to taking on the leadership of the Carrier Group, Mr. Pundt served as Executive Vice President of Landstar Carrier Group Specialized Freight Services, overseeing heavy and specialized freight, automotive and government marketing services and national accounts sales and pricing.
Mr. Pundt sits on the Board of Directors of the Truckload Carriers Association, and is Chairman of the National Defense Transportation Association. |
