Jeewon Kim is an associate in the firm's Government and Regulatory Affairs Practice Group and a member of the Telecommunications and Mass Media Team. Prior to joining Drinker Biddle, Jeewon served as Legislative Counsel to the Honorable U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky, Chief Deputy Whip and Ranking Member on the Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade, and Consumer Protection. She was formerly a legislative fellow on the committees on House Administration and the Judiciary.
In General. Jeewon earned her bachelor's degree summa cum laude in 2001 from the University of California at Berkeley in political science and French and her J. D. from the University of California’s Boalt Hall in 2004 where she was managing editor of the Berkeley Journal of International Law. In 1999-2000, she attended the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris where she earned a diplomê with honors in an international program of political science and social sciences.
Jeewon is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and California. She is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the California Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
