Dr. Jed Rogers is an experienced veterinarian who has spent his career focusing on private practice and practice management. Prior to founding Firehouse, Dr. Rogers served as the Medical Director for VCA Southeast Area Animal Hospital in Denver and for VCA Kaneohe Animal Hospital in Hawaii, one of the largest animal hospitals in the nation. Dr. Rogers received his DVM from Texas A&M University and his AB in anthropology from Harvard University. Dr. Rogers currently serves as a board member of the CVMA, and the Railyard Dogs. He is a past President and current member of the Hawaii Veterinary Medical Association, and a member of the AVMA. Dr. Rogers regularly shares his medical expertise with such non-profit organizations as the Metro Denver Shelter Alliance, the Rocky Mountain Alley Cat Alliance, and the Dumb Friends League. Dr. Rogers, his wife Maia, daughter Caitlin and son Eddy all share a passion for animals. Currently, they live with Mo, a Cocker Spaniel, and cats Hoku and Wilson. All of the Rogers family pets are shelter alumni. |
