Jeanette Armstrong has more than 30 years experience in management fields. Mrs. Armstrong has recently retired from the Lawrence Public Schools where she supervised a $3,000,000 annual budget. She handled all federal, state, and local reporting, maintaining compliance with guidelines and policies in the operation of federal and state funded child nutrition programs. In her position with USD #497, she was instrumental in training approximately half of the 130 employees in basic computer skills required for their job functions. For many years, Mrs. Armstrong has provided training locally and throughout the state in workshops provided by the State Dept. of Education, Nutrition Service Section, and is included on their list of approved vocational education instructors. |
