Jean joined the Firm in 1978 and serves in Wolf's Financial Institutions Group. In addition to providing audit and financial reporting services to her clients, Jean serves as the Director of Professional Practice for the Firm. In her client-service capacity, she consults with clients on matters such as bank mergers and acquisitions, stock conversions, and compliance with the reporting requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Office of Thrift Supervision and the National Credit Union Administration. She has dealt extensively with operating systems and procedures applicable to financial institutions and has spent a significant amount of time assisting clients with public reporting issues and communications with regulatory authorities. Named one of the 'Top Ten Financial Professionals for 2005' by Women's Business Boston, Jean frequently addresses bankers and other professionals on accounting and auditing issues, including presentations at the annual Banking and Savings Institutions Conference of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), for which she served as Chairperson from 2004-2006.
