Dr. Winship brings a breadth of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries to the Light Sciences Oncology team. His leadership ranges from overseeing and assessing compounds through various developmental phases, to participating in the submission of NDAs and BLAs (Biological License Application), to training sales forces and conducting post approval surveillance. Dr. Winship has extensive experience in an array of therapeutic areas such as, general medicine, vaccines, and radiopharmaceuticals. He earned his B.S. in medicine and his M.D. from Northwestern University. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Geriatrics, Medical Microbiology, and Public Microbiology. Dr. Winship has been a faculty member at the University of Washington, University of Kansas, Montana State University, University of Montana, and San Diego University. He belongs to the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Microbiology and the Infectious Disease Society of America. |
