Jay Walters serves as our Chairman. He is an owner of and executive with Magnolia Enterprises a company that restores and manages properties in the Katrina-ravaged sections of the Gulf of Mexico. He has also been a technical consultant following his retirement from Lucent Technologies in 1999. He was elected to the Board of Directors of Power-One Inc. in 2000. As a Director of the company he has previously chaired the Audit and Compensation Committees and has served as the Lead Director. Mr. Walters had a thirty year career with AT&T and then Lucent Technologies. He held successively higher positions over that time in manufacturing R & D quality and eventually as President of the Lucent Technologies Power Systems business. He received a degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Louisiana State University. |
