Jay Tilley is a senior vice president and general manager of Sanborn’s Colorado Springs office.

Mr. Tilley is responsible for the business and technical operations of the Colorado Springs office. He focuses on the management and growth of Sanborn’s core mapping business, as well as managing advanced product development and implementation for the company.

He joined Sanborn in 2004 from Denver-based RESOURCE21, where he was vice president of commercial and civil divisions. Prior to that, he served as vice president of technology at Colorado Springs-based Analytical Surveys, Inc., a company Sanborn later acquired. Tilley has held senior positions at Booz Allen Hamilton, Earth Watch, Inc. (now DigitalGlobe, Inc.), Ball Aerospace Corporation and the Air Force Phillips Laboratory/Space Division.

Mr. Tilley holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering/communications and signal processing form the United States Air Force Academy. He also holds a masters degree in electrical engineering/electro-optics, software engineering and image/signal analysis form the Air Force Institute of Technology in Ohio.
