Effective August 1, 2005, Jay Rein joined Worldspan as vice president e-Commerce. In this role, Rein is responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing for Worldspan’s consumer e-commerce initiatives, including further developing our leadership position in e-commerce. The position reports to Ninan Chacko Chief Commercial Officer and Senior Vice President. Rein has more than 15 years of experience in marketing management, customer relationship management (CRM) and finance, primarily in the technology and travel industries. Most recently, he was senior director CRM & strategic marketing with GTSI Corporation, a major technology provider to the U.S. government. Prior to that, he was a principal of Motorola Professional Services, where he created a new professional and consulting service for Motorola, Inc. Previously, Rein served as vice president and general manager Client Services for Epsilon Data Management, where he played a key role in transforming the company’s operations. He has also held management positions of increasing responsibility at Logica, AT&T Solutions and Accenture. Additionally, his background includes several years of experience with AMR Corporation, where he managed business development and financial planning for The SABRE Group. Rein earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Engineering from the University of Vermont and his Masters of Business Administration in Finance and International Business at New York University. |
