Jay leads Racepoint Group's European operations. In 2006 she merged Fuse PR, an award-winning PR agency that she co-founded in 1998, with Racepoint Group. Jay started her public relations career with BT in 1994 and rose rapidly through the ranks in leading PR agencies Text 100 and The Weber Group, managing and directing programs for clients such as Kodak, BT and HP. She won the CIPR's Young Communicator Award for outstanding achievement in 2001 and was a Media Employer of the Year Finalist in 2003, 2004 and 2005. In addition to her role as Managing Director, Jay is a CIPR Board member, member of the CIPR President's Panel, Chair of the Education & Professional Standards Committee, and a CIPR Excellence Awards and Media Employer of the Year judge. In June 2004, Jay was elected the UK's youngest Chartered Director at the Institute of Directors (IoD) and is the only PR agency head to date to achieve chartered status. In recognition of this achievement, Jay was invited to sit on the IoD's Professional Standards Board. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Institute of Directors. |
