Jack ("Jay") Kelley is a seasoned finance professional with more than 20 of years experience in all aspects of corporate finance, with a particular emphasis in commercial real estate investments for both public and private concerns. Jay specializes in real estate restructuring, as well as turnaround and rescue plans for businesses with financial difficulties.
Previously, Jay served as the Chief Financial Officer for a regional real estate development concern located in St. Petersburg, Florida. In this capacity, he was responsible for all facets of capital management, capital formation, strategic planning and treasury services.
Jay also has extensive experience in corporate banking. He is a former Senior Vice President and Florida State Manager of Wells Fargo Bank's Real Estate Group, where he was instrumental in establishing a new loan production effort. Jay was responsible for directing the marketing and sales activity of the bank's two commercial real estate production offices in Tampa and Ft. Lauderdale that serve financial needs of public and privately held real estate clients across the state.
Prior to Wells Fargo, Mr. Kelley worked with Wachovia Bank for over 15 years, where he held a variety of lending, credit and management positions, including service as the Senior Credit Officer for Florida Real Estate Financial Services where he oversaw all credit aspects of Wachovia's $1.5B real estate portfolio in Florida.
In addition to working with a wide array of companies at all stages of the growth cycle, Jay also has a specialized focus in commercial real estate finance. He has been instrumental in structuring and restructuring billions of dollars lent to both private and public concerns. He has extensive background in all phases of project finance for all types of commercial and residential real estate including cash flow forecasting, valuation modeling, highest and best use analysis, and determination of optimal capital structures.
