Mr. Jones is responsible for overseeing KANA’s general counsel’s office, human resources, information technology, and overall business operations. Mr. Jones has over 20 years experience in leading software companies’ business operations. He served as senior vice president, CIO of Symantec. Prior to VERITAS’ merger with Symantec, Mr. Jones served as VERITAS’ Chief Administrative Officer, the role he held at OpenVision prior to OpenVision’s merger with VERITAS. During his tenure at VERITAS, Mr. Jones led the company’s operations and administration as it grew from $80 million to over $2 billion in annual revenues by the time it was acquired by Symantec in 2005. Prior to OpenVision, Mr. Jones was senior corporate counsel for Oracle Corporation. Mr. Jones holds a B.S. in architecture from Howard University; a M.S. in City Planning from the University of California Berkeley; and a J.D. from the University of California Berkeley. He is a member of the California Bar. |
