He has pioneered start-up ventures in multiple media platforms, including cable television, Internet and telephony, since 1995. Previously, Jay was Chief Operational Architect and Executive Vice President of Interactive Technology Solutions at RnetHealth.com, and was responsible for building the interactive technologies business unit, inclusive of both B2B and consumer applications. He has managed and co-founded two multi-media high-tech companies, and has managed and helped sell two additional start-ups. As Senior Vice President of Business Development at Lifescape 1to1, a joint venture between TCI Digital Health Group and Recovery Television Network, Jay helped to successfully launch their web-based interactive behavioral health product in October of 1998. In 1995, Jay was involved in the start-up of Recovery Television Network as Senior Vice President of Business Development. He helped to secure private equity capital and forge successful partnerships to aggregate products, services and information from dozens of world-class partners, including AT&T/TCI, Liberty Media, J2S2, AOL, Yahoo, Viant, Digital Evolution, Medical Broadcast Company, Glaxo Wellcome, Rodale Press, Magellan Health Services, Value Options and The University of Florida Brain Institute. |
