Jay Geldmacher, an Emerson executive vice president, serves as president of Emerson Network Power’s Embedded Power & Computing Group. Its businesses, Astec and Artesyn, provide power conversion and computing products. Emerson Network Power overall posted sales of $4.4 billion in fiscal 2006. Geldmacher joined Emerson in January 1996, and before that he served in various management capacities with Knowles Electronics.
Geldmacher attended the University of Arizona where he received a bachelor’s degree in marketing, followed by an executive Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago. He currently serves on the advisory boards for the undergraduate and graduate programs of the Eller Business School at the University of Arizona. |
