Jay Feldstein, DO, is the Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Feldstein is responsible for the Medical Management division of Keystone Mercy Health Plans including medical management initiatives such as utilization, quality, case management and disease management. In addition, his team is charged, along with Keystone Mercy's Provider Network Management and other departments, to develop initiatives to best support our members' health care needs.
Prior to joining Keystone Mercy, Dr. Feldstein was a Senior Medical Director for AETNA's Mid-Atlantic region. In this role, he was responsible for developing and implementing medical cost and quality initiatives; developing and maintaining provider relations and communication strategies; budget oversight; and profit and loss initiatives. Dr. Feldstein's health care career includes experience as the Network Medical Director for AETNA's Southern New Jersey/Delaware division, the Medical Director for Concentra Health Center and President and CEO of Occupational Health Resources, Inc.
Dr. Feldstein received a BA from Penn State University and his DO from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Residency in Emergency Medicine at the Medical Center of Delaware and his Internship at JFK Hospital in Strafford, New Jersey. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Occupational Medicine and is a Fellow of The American College of Preventive Medicine. |
