Jay Fee joined Varsity Group in May of 2006, as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Fee is a seasoned sales executive who offers a record of achievement, which includes guiding organizations through start-up, growth and expansion, and turning around struggling organizations through business development and business reengineering. He has been a catalyst for positive change with a proven history of success.
For six years, Mr. Fee served as Vice President of Sales and eServices at Keystone Automotive Operations. He led the development and management of the national accounts group, drop-ship fulfillment group, B2C site and operations and B2B site and operations, as well as several of its call centers and sales operations.
During his year at Crosstier.com, Mr. Fee served as Vice President and led a turnaround initiative with an emphasis on generating new business. He directed the IT consulting company toward eCommerce solutions, driving growth and positioning the company for acquisition.
Mr. Fee spent nine years at the Navy Federal Credit Union. He was continually promoted, which led him to a position of high authority, managing all aspects of consumer loan portfolio and staff for world’s largest credit union. The opportunity for this position came after he served seven years as project manager for some of the company’s largest IT projects and after his role as Executive Analyst for Operations, in which he focused on reengineering call centers, driving process, productivity and efficiency improvement initiatives and launching new products.
Mr. Fee is also an author of several publications, has an M.B.A from Averett University in Virginia and completed additional post graduate work from George Mason University and the University of Michigan.
