Mr. Backstrom is an accomplished executive with over 15 years of combined healthcare industry and consulting experience with a specialty in digital imaging, workflow optimization and clinical informatics.
Mr. Backstrom leads TSC's Optimization Services team focused on driving measurable and successful operational performance and service level outcomes associated with the implementation of digital imaging. This team realizes successful outcomes for our clients utilizing our proven methods and best practices techniques for performing clinical workflow redesign, operational optimization, and physician adoption services.
Prior to TSC, Mr. Backstrom led GE Healthcare's National IT Consulting Services dedicated to performance-based digital solutions using Six Sigma approaches and techniques. He is a frequent speaker at national conferences and has had multiple articles published in the market on enterprise digital imaging and performance-based healthcare solutions. Mr. Backstrom has a BBA in Computer Information Systems from Texas State University.
