Dr. Samuels is a professor in the Departments of Educational Psychology and Curriculum and Instruction and serves on the Governing Council for the Center for Research in Perception, Learning, and Cognition at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Samuels also serves on the National Reading Panel of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. His awards and memberships include induction into the Reading Hall of Fame, the William S. Gray Citation of Merit from the International Reading Association, and the Oscar O. Causey Award for Distinguished Research in Reading from the National Reading Conference. |
