Gratz joined Inland Steel in 1975, holding various positions in financial planning and analysis and cash and investments until he was named Vice President, Finance, for the Flat Products Division of Inland Steel Company. From 1994 and 1998, he was Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Ryerson Tull and in March 1999, added Executive Vice President to his responsibilities.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and chemistry from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a masters of management degree in finance and accounting from the J.L. Kellogg School at Northwestern University. Gratz is a Certified Public Accountant. |
