Chairman of the Company, American Eagle Outfitters, Inc., a retail chain, and SSC since March 1992 and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from April 1991 to July 1997 and from July 1999 to December 2000. Since March 2005, Mr. Schottenstein also serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DSW. Mr. Schottenstein served as Chief Executive Officer of American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. from 1992 to 2002. Mr. Schottenstein served as Vice Chairman of SSC from 1986 until March 1992 and as a director of SSC since 1982. He served as President of the Furniture Division of SSC from 1985 through June 1993 and in various other executive capacities since 1976.
